Teams

Organize developers and projects under teams with role-based access control.

Overview

Teams are the top-level organizational unit in Astralform. Every project belongs to a team, and team membership controls who can access and manage projects.

When you create an account, a default personal team is created automatically.

Team Roles

Role	Permissions
Owner	Full control — manage members, transfer ownership, delete team
Admin	Create projects, manage members (cannot add admins or delete team)
Member	Access team projects, view members

Creating a Team

1. Go to astralform.ai
2. Click the team switcher in the sidebar
3. Click Create Team
4. Enter a team name and slug (URL-friendly identifier)

The slug must be lowercase alphanumeric with hyphens, 2-60 characters (e.g., my-startup).

Managing Members

Adding Members

Team admins and owners can add members by email. The invited user must already have an Astralform account.

Roles and Permissions

• Owners can promote members to admin, remove admins, and transfer ownership
• Admins can add/remove members (not other admins)
• Members can leave the team voluntarily

Transferring Ownership

Only the current owner can transfer ownership. The previous owner is demoted to admin.

Team Icon

Upload a custom team icon (PNG, JPEG, or WebP, max 256 KB) from team settings.
